Andy Fuller, BUAFL Chief Executive, has welcomed the offer of BAFRA to support teams in getting to grips with rule changes for the 2007/08 season and to answer any other queries which teams may have regarding officiating.

"I am delighted that BAFRA have offered to support our teams in this way. I would like to offer my thanks to all the BAFRA staff, in particular Pete Thom who will be co-ordinating any liaison.

"I would urge teams to take advantage of this offer and not only learn more about the rule changes but also to learn more about the process involved in becoming a qualified official."

All enquiries should be directed to rules@bafra.org

Teams should give details of when and where they would like to meet. BAFRA will then put a nearby official in touch with the team subject to availability.

With regard to changes for this coming season teams should review the following website

In particular, teams need to note the new restrictions on eye shields, which
now must be clear, and on kicking tees, which can now be no more than 1" in
height.
