BUAFL is continuing to strengthen its ties with all bodies of American
Football in the UK, by becoming the first league to accept unreserved
compliance with the recently re-released BAFRA team pack.

The importance of retaining and developing the current high levels of
refereeing is considered to be of up most importance to BUAFL. By following
the amendments laid out below it is hoped that both bodies may prosper in
the coming months and years.

BAFRA have stated:

"BAFRA has made two small changes to the Annex to our Terms & Conditions
that will take effect from 1st October 2007.

We have decided we can no longer waive the admin fee for friendlies. We are
incurring just as much travel costs on those as for regular season games,
and they are no longer the opportunity for training rookies that they were
when the policy was introduced 17 years ago.

Secondly, we can no longer offer the 50% discount on the admin fee to teams
playing on days other than Sunday. Again, these games cost us just as much
in travel expenses, and there are now so many games being played on
Saturdays that we don't want to make this an incentive to play more.

While these changes will result in a small number of teams paying slightly
more than they otherwise would have, the simplification of charges will make
things fairer for all."

The full Terms & Conditions, as well as the Annex of charges, can be found

BUAFL can also confirm that for all teams who have already made a booking
under the old T&Cs, BAFRA will honour that.
