The summer of 2012 will see the second British Universities American Football League National Flag Football Championships and the launch of Conference Championships.
In the Spring and Summer of 2011 the University of Warwick played host to the inaugural BUAFL Flag Football Championships for both males and females. A combination of strong tactical acument and sheer athleticism characterised the championship-winning performances of both the Coventry Jets and the Warwick Wolves in the female and male events respectively.
As a new championships, the 2011 edition saw simply a one day finals event. 2012 however, will see a National Finals day preceded by 7 Conference Championships, such is the demand for the game.
